What is health coaching?

Many of us lead very stressful and demanding lives and every day feels like a struggle.  Ironically, leading a healthy lifestyle that ensures we have the energy and positive mindset to cope with life's demands is often very low on our list of priorities. Bad habits just feel easier.  Even when you desperately want to feel better, have more energy, be happier and more confident in how you look it can be very difficult to make the changes that are necessary to get you there. It can sometimes feel utterly impossible. 

Health coaching will empower you with the knowledge and skills to confidently take back control of your health.  

Health coaching is a process that respects your reasons for wanting to change and the pace at which you want to make these changes. A health coach will be there to encourage and guide you to successfully achieve your goals and maintain the results over the long-term.

Both your past experiences and current situation have an impact on the decisions you make and the actions you take (or don't take) every day.  These can present obstacles to your success that you may or may not be aware of. Your health coach will work with you to discover what these hidden obstacles  are and help you develop strategies to overcome them.
